What should I wear?
Choose something you feel comfortable and confident in. Neutral or solid colors tend to photograph best, and simple professional attire works well for both photos and video.
Do I have to record a video?
No. If you prefer, you can simply book a headshot session. The video option is available if you’d like to create a short introduction for potential clients.
What if I feel nervous on camera?
That’s completely normal. We’ll guide you through the process and use simple prompts to help the conversation feel natural. Most therapists are surprised how easy it ends up being.
Will I receive the files?
Yes. You’ll receive the photo and full length video files so you can use them on your website, social media, professional listings, or anywhere else you’d like.
Can I use the content outside of NextTherapist?
Absolutely. The content is yours to use wherever it’s helpful for your practice. How long does my session take?
How long does my session take?
Headshot sessions take about 10–15 minutes. Video sessions take about 30 minutes.
