In this one-hour training, we’ll explore practical approaches to navigating ethical dilemmas in therapy through critical thinking and self-awareness. You’ll learn how to recognize ethical concerns, increase your tolerance for ambiguity, and apply tools that support thoughtful, ethical decision-making in complex clinical situations.
We’ll learn how to:
- Identify clinical and personal indicators of ethical issues and dilemmas
- Increase self-awareness of triggers, biases, and past experiences that influence decision-making
- Develop greater comfort with the ambiguity often present in ethical situations
- Apply practical tools and frameworks for working through possible scenarios and outcomes
